Geoinformatics
Students have profound knowledge about principles and methods of geoinformatics as well as geographical information including its acquisition, modelling, management, processing, analysis, presentation, and dissemination. They are familiar with spatial data models, data structures, and algorithms and are able to apply them to analytically solve geospatial problems. They understand the principles of objectoriented programming and are capable of implementing common spatial data structures and algorithms.
